Job Description:  

Tea Horse is seeking a dynamic and inventive Digital Marketing Intern to elevate our brand’s visibility in the competitive food and beverage industry. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and contribute creatively to our campaigns, all while enhancing your skills in social media, content creation, and data analysis.



  • Marketing:
    • Assist in organizing and coordinating trade shows and events.
    • Prepare, coordinate, and manage the delivery of marketing materials (digital and print).
    • Develop marketing materials to maintain a consistent image of Tea Horse.
    • Ensure a high standard of quality and consistent corporate image across all media.
    • Manage content on various media platforms, maintaining meticulous files and documentation. 
  • Social Media:
    • Enhance brand awareness, online reputation, and engagement across social platforms.
    • Develop and maintain a social media editorial calendar and posting schedule.
    • Engage with customers online, responding to inquiries and facilitating discussions.
    • Compile details and content for new product categories, including photos and videos.
    • Create engaging videos and graphics for social media posts, marketing campaigns, and advertisements.
    • Oversee content distribution on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • Stay abreast of social media trends and recommend actions for further engagement.



  • Experience with social media platforms and strategies.
  • Proficiency in content and video production, including editing software.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and data-driven marketing approaches.
  • Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.



  • Candidate must be a new entrant into the workforce, are transitioning to a new career, or the unemployed or underemployed who are entering a new field.
  • Candidate must have not previously participated in an NOHFC funded internship in the 2020 Mandate
  • Candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Once hired, the candidate must reside in the Northern Ontario community in which they are employed.
  • A diploma or degree from a post-secondary institution is required
